Hello! My name is Valentin Izere, a Rwandan 3D animator based in Canada. I attended an art high school in Rwanda from 2018 to 2021, where I developed a strong foundation in visual arts. Drawing and painting—both traditionally and digitally—have always fueled my creativity, inspiring me to capture the beauty of nature and the essence of society through art.

From an early age, I was deeply inspired by cartoons and animated films. I was fascinated by how they were created, and that curiosity gradually drew me into the world of animation. However, I never perceived I could gain such skills, but was always ambitious to reach this point and pursue my passion creatively.

As I continued honing my artistic and drawing skills, I later joined Algonquin College in the Animation program and graduated in 2026. With a certainty of creative growth and skills, I have became driven to bring a project to life with purpose and emotion. My goal as an animator is to create compelling characters and meaningful visual storytelling that allow audiences to connect with and relive emotions on screen..

Outside my animation world, I enjoy reading books, which I have recently developed, as well as cooking.
